This option helps deal with obstacles such as elevation changes, roadways, sidewalks, retaining walls, sprinkler systems and underground utilities. Our vacuum excavation system can locate and uncover underground utilities without damaging the conduit or direct buried cables. The directional boring service prevents surface disruption eliminating the cost of roadway and landscaping restoration.Usually the insertion and exit points are in the new locations of pole bases, services, manholes, or pedestals so there is no other evidence that the conduit installation took place. Patches are clearly visible when conduit is installed using conventional trenching. Photometric, electrical, and structural drawings are specifically created to meet your lighting and budget needs. The fixtures and poles are completely installed, including all wiring inside the pole. Your responsibility is to provide power to the pole and make the connection, if necessary LMI will make the connections. Partial installation does not include bringing electrical service to each pole location, switchgear, conduit, wire, etc. Maintenance Contracts LMI performs proactive preventative maintenance as recommended by the Illumination Engineers Society of North America (“IESNA”). Cleaning of fixtures depending upon air quality can be recommended annually. Contracts can be tailored to fit individual owner’s needs, such as guaranteed response times etc.Photometric Testing A grid of measuring points usually 20’x20’ or 30’ x 30’ will be laid out on the field just prior to testing. Using a recently calibrated light meter LMI will measure light levels at predetermined points and calculate the average illuminance and the Max/Min ratio. A complete report is produced and sent to the customer.Upgrades If the field’s lighting system is under performing, we will recommend corrective action to bring the system into compliance with the original specification or upgrade beyond the original design to meet today’s needs. A proposal will be submitted guaranteeing both price and performance. The plan may include but is not limited to, re-aiming fixtures, cleaning the lens and reflector, changing lamps, or adding fixtures.
