WENDY MANLEY GETS MAJOR NOMINATION
Country Female Artist of the Year from New Music Weekly
Wendy was nominated in April 2004 as Country Female
Artist of the Year by the prestigious trade magazine New Music Weekly
based in Los Angeles. She is nominated along with a Who's Who of
female artists including Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Patty
Loveless, Chely Wright and Sherrie Austin. The NMW Awards Show that will
honor the nominees and winners will be held on Saturday, June 26th, 2004
at the famous Key Club Theater in Hollywood, CA. See

A Good Suntan

Wendy's latest single, A Good Suntan, has just been
released to Country radio on CDX Vol. 345, and is already moving up the
country charts. The song was recorded in Nashville in April for her new
album that is scheduled for release in the fall. This is a feel good,
summertime song that is drawing a great response from listeners across the

White Water Records is pleased to announce the release
of Wendy’s new mainstream country album,
Indigo Blue. Indigo Blue is a rich, thirteen
song collection, as contemporary as tomorrow, colored with a blues
undercurrent that draws from the earliest roots of country music. Legends
of country music like Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams and many others,
recent as well as past, have drawn inspiration directly from the blues,
and Indigo Blue shares in that tradition. Wendy is supported
by an all star cast of Nashville musicians that took these songs to heart.
This is an emotionally charged project by a gifted country artist that
explores the full range of life experience and which will leave the
listener wanting more.
Wendy’s last album, Wanted,
released in summer 2001, is a collection of country gospel hits from
Wendy’s first three albums, along with three new songs recorded for this
project. Wanted includes a number of songs that were top ten
hits on the Christian Country charts and others that are destined to be.
Songs from this project continue to enjoy widespread airplay. Her previous
country album, Ten Below, has
received airplay on hundreds of country stations, including WSM-AM in
Nashville, with one single reaching the No.1 spot on the Inside Country
Indie Chart.
Her first two albums, Child of
Mine and Still Waters Run Deep,
are country gospel projects that continue to enjoy widespread airplay on
country and Christian radio stations nationally, and they continue to sell
