Its unique features include an optional, removable IP65-rated operator display, communication expansion modules and easy flowchart programming. Base station controllers are available in 24V DC, 24V AC/DC, and 100-240V AC versions. On board I/O consists of digital inputs and outputs. The modular design allows up to three I/O expansion modules, increasing the total I/O count to 24 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. NanoLine’s other unique features include optional communication expansion modules, such as Ethernet, RS232, RS485, or USB. Optional real-time-clock and memory module for transferring programs are also available. These additions create easy data exchange with Modbus TCP or Modbus RTU devices. The optional operator panel can be mounted through a cabinet up to three feet from the base unit and can be used to display messages or for data entry. The nanoLine controller is programmed using intuitive flowchart language. The easy-to-use nanoNavigator software configures the hardware and creates the control logic with six simple instruction blocks. The simple control logic executes on in less than one millisecond on the nanoLine. Even the most complex application execute in less than 10 millisecond.
