30 days ago (more like 60 or more), you should have received an IRS Notice of Intent to Levy and you probably just put it aside. Or maybe you forgot or ignored it. It's possible that you
never received it - lots of people never receive these notices. Most of my clients simply ignore it because it's from IRS and no one wants to read one of their notices. It's also called a Thirty Day
Notice because that's the amount of time it gives you before IRS drops the Mother of All Levy bombs on you. Maybe it was mailed to a previous address and you never got it. Now it’s Friday or the 15th
or last of the month and it's Payday. Expecting your usual paycheck, you open the envelope and find that the IRS has taken most of your money. What's left isn't enough to pay the rent, your car

I really don't know where to begin.
I started off with good intentions, but one thing led to another, next you know I hadn't filed in so long I didn't dare file (Actually, as far back as 2001) . I
was so scared that if I filed & had nothing to give them that my life would be over. It was all I could do to keep my head above water, & I didn't have much extra. Well they finally caught up to me,
the last pay period before Christmas 2007! They left me with less than $340 every two weeks to pay all my bills. Rent, Utilities, Credit Cards, Car Insurance, Fuel, & not to mention Food. And, so the
realization kicked in & the drowning began. To say I was scared is an understatement. I didn't know what to do & waited 6 paralyzing months. Push finally came to shove, as my fiancée was leaving me. (So
