pasokan energi ke pabrik.
Apabila PLN tidak mengizinkan pengoperasian pembangkit listrik milik sendiri maka investasi jutaan dolar yang telah ditanamkan menjadi sia-sia. Di sisi lain, PLN tidak dapat memberikan jaminan kontinyuitas pasokan listrik.

Kenaikan minyak bumi sangat berpengaruh terhadap bahan baku Mono
Ethylin Glicol. Dengan kenaikan harga minyak dunia US$ 10/barel maka
mengakibatkan kenaikan harga serat sintetik US$ 0,25/kg tanpa melihat
kondisi pasokan dan permintaan. Harga akan lebih tinggi kalau pasokan
kurang permintaan tinggi. Sekarang dengan harga minyak yang begitu
tinggi, terjadi over supply di pasar dunia karena dengan naiknya harga
serat sintetik maka harga produk garmen dan tekstil tinggi sehingga
masyarakat menunda pembelian.
