The technology behind the ESL aids in price accuracy because electronic shelf labels and scanners are updated simultaneously when prices are entered into a store's central computer. ESLs is a kind of wireless price tags . Investments are being made in our advanced technology for the retail trade. For many years, every shopper has occasional doubts about whether the price that flashes on the checkout screen matches the price posted on the shelf. You can challenge the charge and endure price-check delays and stares from your fellow shoppers or just ignore the discrepancy and leave the store feeling cheated. This scenario happens often enough that retailers have sought an automatic means of coordinating shelf and checkout prices. Hidden screens can contain useful information for retailers, such as display-stock levels, stock-location codes, or any other information that the management or shelf-loading staffs require. Because this data is hidden from customers, it does not clutter the normal display screen with unnecessary data, making the price and other messages easy to read.
