research and development of Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) process for powder hardfacing;
design and building of automatic PTA equipments for powder welding, best tailored to Customer’s needs;
design and improvement of plasma torches, as well as
powder dispensers, reliable in automatic PTA applications;
conventional turntable positioners and special manipulators supplied according to user request;
research and feasibility study with PTA technique devoted to the experimental solution of a welding problem submitted by the final user;
sampling tests performed by PTA hardfacing with different powder alloys, followed by metallurgical and tribological tests.
