The "netbook" or mini-notebook phenomenon has no end in sight. September's View from the Top interview is with Forsa Multimedia Limited of Hong Kong, who are rolling out the Posh Book, a netbook with a whopping 10.2-inch screen, based on a VIA reference design. This is an ambitious project, one that will be fascinating to watch as the company moves the Posh Book up-market.
In this month's ICT Market Intelligence we look at some of the latest assessments of the OLED scene. Industry veterans will always warn you that technology is one thing, mass production quite another. This warning certainly applies to OLEDs, a display technology of enormous promise but one with many hurdles still to cross. R&D continues at a cracking pace, but OLED as a commercial reality for TVs and larger displays is still some way off.
