"Des Artisans Cuisiniers au service d'une alimentation saine !"
Campione d'Italia - 22 september 2008
Euro-Toques International organized an event at "Campione d'Italia, the capital of the European cuisine for a day" on September 22, 2008.
The event, organized in partnership with the Casino and the Tourist Agency of Campione and Euro-Toques Italy, hosted the Great Chefs across Europe as part of our organization.
The event consisted in three key moments:
-9h: Board Meeting of Euro-Toques International
-16h: Cocktail on the terrace of the Casino with local producers and the participation of Slowfood.
-20h: the Gala Dinner hosted prestigious Italian (Giovanni Ranna and Gualtiero Marchesi) and international guests. A menu of high quality was developed to highlight beautiful products and culinary know-how.

Open Days Official Reception - 8 october 2008
The official reception of OPEN DAYS 2008 is an event organized for participants and partners on the evening of Wednesday 8
October. It will take place at the Committee of the Regions
headquarters and will be co-organized with Euro-Toques International.

 European talks towards laying down terms of a difficult equation
Euro-Toques International participated to this conference, organized by the Think Tank Confrontations Europe, at the 2nd Round Table on June 5th at the European Parliament:
To confront nutrition unbalances. How can we better inform, educate and supply?
Public and private players take initiatives after having noticed nutrition unbalances and complexity of messages and recommendations. Test programs are being introduced in many cities, distributors adopt quality charters and sign partnerships at the occasions like public campaigns (« 5 fruit and vegetables a day »), manufacturers work on brands and labels, multiply « health » initiatives… but the circle of honourable intentions hasn’t been set in motion. The situation is getting worse: obesity appears in the poorest regions and when talking about obesity among children we have started using a term: “epidemics”. Should we introduce food awareness at schools? Forbid advertising on TV? How to finance implementation of « good » products and in quantities sufficient for everybody? How can we better inform and educate?
