Who Must Develop and Update Federal Affirmative Action Plans?
Your organization must complete a federal Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) if BOTH of the following statements are true:
Your company is a Federal contractor (provides goods or services to the U.S. Government) or subcontractor (provides goods or services to a company that is a federal contractor)
and
Your company has 50 or more employees.
AND if any one of the following statements is true:
Your company has a Federal contract or subcontract of $50,000 or more.
Your company is a financial institution that is an issuing agent for U.S. Savings Bonds and Notes.
Your company serves as a depository of Government funds in any amount.
Your company has Government bills of lading which in any 12-month period total or will likely total $50,000 or more.
Your company has an open-ended or indefinite quantity Federal contract or subcontract (such as a procurement order or standing invoice) that will total $50,000 or more.

We can prepare federal Affirmative Action Plans in weeks and require minimal time from your staff. Your staff's role is to provide data in Excel on current employees and applicants, hires, promotions, transfers and terminations for the 12-month period preceding your AAP's effective date. In addition, we work together to determine your organization's policies and practices concerning Affirmative Action and to ensure your organization is doing all the things it needs to do to be in compliance.
Fox Human Resource Associates performs extensive checks for data accuracy and integrity to ensure the AAP is accurate and audit-ready. Your AAP will include all of the statistical analyses required by the OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs), the federal government agency that conducts compliance reviews.
